I’m not a fan, nor do I dislike him, but I’ve been keeping a distant eye on Justin Bieber over the years. I really don’t care what people think, he is multi-talented and gifted (lovely voice, plays guitar, plays the drums, writes his own music and lyrics etc.), but I never felt like he was using or allowed to use his talent to the fullest. Something was missing. Well, I think what was missing was discovered and is the reason why his new album “Purpose” is so dang good. This album, all the songs, is so well crafted musically, lyrically, and they all come from the heart. I do not care what style or genre of music people produce, if it’s not personal and from the heart, it’s not going to be good. I’m enjoying reading about all the people who “hated” Justin being blown away by this new album and converting. I think he’s learned a lot and is maturing well. So, I leave you with my favorite song from the album, “I’ll Show You.” What a fantastic music video concept for this song. The video was shot in Iceland and was directed by Rory Kramer. There is also a little humor mixed in thanks to Justin taking a dip in some very cold water in his undies, haha, but powerfully reflects the beauty of the landscape and the carefree nature of Justin.
